ETERNAL BRIDAL CELEBRATES GALIA LAHAV SPRING/SUMMERS23 COLLECTIONS AT THE LANGHAM SYDNEY
Posted by Annie Lu onCue the lights, ready the cameras, and in a room full of romantic roses and candles, the action is abuzz in the air. This is the beginning of the revival of bridal collection launch events since the lockdowns, celebrating the resurrection of Sydney's wedding industry post covid pandemic hiatus. In a ballroom filled with the best talents of Australia's wedding industry and excited Galia brides-to-be, Eternal Bridal officially launched Galia Lahav Haute Couture and GALA by Galia Lahav's newest spring/summer 2023 bridal dress collection in Sydney.
Held at the lavish Langham Hotel, the night saw a magnificent display of intricately handcrafted wedding dresses from the "Rise" and "Shine" collections modelled on two square stages surrounded by a wild arrangement of roses in the blushing colour palette of pinks, champagne and white. From ethereal ballgowns with 3D embellished flowers to glittery oversized bridal capes to the signature Galia Lahav figure-hugging low-back beaded fit and flare wedding dresses, the latest collection filled the night with excited whispers and dreamy sighs.
"Like a sunrise greeting the day", the Rise collection is crafted to encourage brides to "restart and refresh during this season of renewal" as if they are the most arresting bloom in a spring garden. The Shine collection was designed to contrast the void of playful, sparkling energy that was the hangover from covid restrictions. Head designers Galia Lahav and Sharon Sever have bundled the glitz and glamour of a glorious party to create a collection that explores an array of youthful silhouettes and iridescent features. Playing true to its name, the collective dresses will make any bride "Rise" and "Shine" on her special day.
The glamorous event attracted wedding and bridal influencers from around the nation. The prestigious guests included legendary fashion stylist Jamie Azzopardi, influencers from every bride's favourite bridal blog, Wedded Wonderland, and headwear queen Viktoria Novak. The highly sought-after makeup artist Melissa Sassine and popular bridal hair stylist Natalie Anne Hair were also honoured guests who collaborated with Eternal Bridal to complete the Galia Lahav looks on the night.
