The Special Couple: Tyler + Sam

THE FIRST SIGHT

Sam and I met by accident, we both compete in the equestrian scene. He was at a competition and I happened to be working in the same town that week. We ran into each other at the local pub, Sam had had way too many beverages and thought he was a whole lot smoother than he was! We hit it off from the start, and I knew he was someone special. We share so much of the same interests, and he is truly the most kind-hearted person.

THE PROPOSAL

One day I arrived home from work, I found Sam standing in the driveway dressed in his best formal shirt paired with his favourite board shorts! He followed me around the house for around 15 minutes, becoming more and more sweaty. Until he worked up the courage to propose in the lounge room. The whole proposal was just so him, and I loved it.

THE INSPIRATION

My theme was soft and natural. Our flowers were the base for the entire theming, and the girls at Emunah Events absolutely nailed my vision! Like most brides, I turned to Pintrest, blogs and Instagram to find inspiration. Once I found my vision for my bouquet, every other aspect was created around it.

THE BRIDAL LOOK

I wanted my bridal look to be very me. I don't get dressed up on a daily bases for work, and I didn't want to look back and not recognise myself. I kept everything very natural and light. The dress I eventually chose was just an absolute stand out, I loved everything about it, it was classy, elegant and beautiful. The materials were second to none. Nothing compared.

HER SAY "YES" TO THE DRESS MOMENT

I tried on so many gowns, I got sick of going gown shopping, it became painful and the staff became all too much for me!

I live in Brisbane, and I was down in Sydney for a competition with my husband, and I said I really wanted to go and visit Eternal Bridal as I loved the Hayley Paige Collection. I went for an appointment and they were so lovely from the start. The dress I originally went to try on, I put it on and hated it! The girls grabbed a few dresses they thought would suit me and when I tried the Natalia dress on I knew it was the one. I loved it! The fit, the fabric and the explicit detail was incredible. Eternal Bridal was fantastic to deal with, and the dress arrived at the exact date along with the fit was perfect.

THE HIGHLIGHT

The highlight of my day was the ceremony. Walking up that aisle to my absolute pride and joy meant the world. We both wrote our own vowels which was so special, and Sam's was simply amazing. To feel the raw emotion from not only him by our guests was something I will never forget.

Don't forget to smile and enjoy the moment. The day goes so quickly, so be sure to soak up every minute.
