Let’s go back to where it all began. When and how did you meet your significant other? 

It all started with a simple ‘swipe right’ in August 2018. I made the first move by describing my perfect date night and Chris has no option but to message back. Little did we know, our love story was about to be completely changed. And the two of us made it official as a couple in December 2018.

Hit us in the heart strings and tell us all about the proposal! 

In December 2022, Chris decided that it was finally the time to plan the proposal. With the help of my sister, Michelle and Chris planned it all together for a beautiful proposal during our trip to Europe. Just after the sunrise on the 18th June 2023, in front of the Louvre Museum, Chris got down on one knee and asked the most important question of his life. It was perfect. 

Was there a theme for your wedding? What inspired you while styling your dream day?

The theme for our wedding is timeless elegance. I always dreamed of having a classic romantic wedding celebration and we were lucky enough to work with Legacy Organizer and other vendors who made our dream wedding come true. 

What was the inspiration behind your bridal look? 

I wanted a wedding dress that was elegant yet sexy and romantic at the same time. And I knew that I wanted a wedding dress that has a corset bodice and detachable sleeves so that I could have 2 different looks for the ceremony and reception. As for the makeup, I want to have a soft, glamorous and natural look. 

Describe your ‘yes to the dress’ moment. How did you feel and what made you say ‘yes’?

I first came to Eternal Bridal with my mom and my grandma and the funny story is that the ‘Orrie’ dress was the first dress I tried on. In the beginning, I doubted that it was the one until I came home and looked back at the picture and I couldn't get my mind off it. 

How was your experience at Eternal Bridal? 

It was truly a memorable and fun experience. Kayla, my stylist, was so friendly and helpful during my time there. I could do it all over again. 

How did you feel on your wedding day wearing your Eternal Bridal wedding dress? 

I felt absolutely incredible. It was everything I had hoped for; from the sweetheart neckline, the matching detachable sleeves, the long train, the corset bodice, and transparent low back. It was true perfection.

What was the highlight of your special day?  

Marrying my best friend at the most beautiful venue and surrounded by the people we love the most. 

If you could go back in time and give your newly-engaged self one piece of advice, what would it be?

Just breathe and enjoy every moment of it. From the wedding planning to the big day, just follow your heart because you only get to do it once. And remember, the day is about you and your partner and while you do it together, nothing else matters.
