REAL BRIDE ANDRIANA TIES THE KNOT IN LE LEE STUDIO
Posted by Eternal Bridal onOn November 9th 2024, Andriana and George met at the altar and exchanged vows to spend their lives together. We sat down with our bride, Andriana to learn all about her movie-worthy mountain-top proposal story, how she styled her romantic wedding ceremony, and what made her say ‘yes’ to the Le Lee Studio dress with her mum and bridesmaids by her side.
Let’s go back to where it all began. When and how did you meet your significant other?
I met George at a New Years Eve party in 2019 through mutual friends.
How did your now-husband propose?
2023 had been a big year for us and we needed a holiday! We booked a few days in Hawaii before exploring Japan to get the best of both words- sunshine and sightseeing. Unfortunately, when we arrived in Hawaii the weather was horrible, torrential rain and flooding every day except for one, the day he proposed. We woke up early to cease the beautiful sunshine we were desperately hoping for and went on a hike up Diamond Head. What felt like I was running a marathon next to him in order to reach the top, sweaty and red as a tomato we stood there to take a photo with the incredible views. The next thing I knew, he was down on one knee proposing with the most romantic speech. It was perfection, just the two of us. Later we celebrated with a traditional Hawaiian Luau and cocktails.
Was there a theme for your wedding? What inspired you?
I adored the minimalistic style, clean and neat that had a timeless and elegant feel to the venue. When planning the wedding, I knew the minor details added to the day but weren’t my main focus, so we decided to keep it classic, with black, white and gold. We romanticised the venue with candles and beautiful classic white florals and splashes of greenery highlighted with pin drop lighting.
What inspired your bridal look?
Honestly, the dress. Once I found my gown, I made sure everything else was complimentary to the style. I kept everything else as natural as possible; I wanted to still feel and look like me but let the dress capture everyone’s attention, which it definitely did.
What was the highlight of your special day?
Thinking about it, it’s hard to pinpoint the highlight because I would do the entire day again in a heartbeat, but the one moment I cherish the most is the moment I walked into the church and saw George standing at the end of the altar. Nothing else mattered in that moment, all I noticed was him and I couldn’t have been more excited to become his wife. Obviously, a close second was the reception, the love we could feel from our family and friends celebrating with us just made the whole day and night magical.
How many gowns did you try on? What made your gown stand out from all the others?
Initially I went with my mum to try a range of silhouettes at a local bridal store to see what style would suit me, I walked out of that appointment still not knowing so I figured I would start looking at some inspiration online, when I stumbled across Eternal Bridal and Le Lee Studio. I found the first dress that I fell in love with, the Archilla. The detail in the flowers, the pearls, the halter neck, an A-line silhouette…it was unique, and it just made me feel like a ‘bride’ when I tried it on. By the end of the appointment Caitlin had taken my measurements and poured the champagne, my dream dress was purchased!
Describe the moment you found your dress. How was your experience at Eternal Bridal?
Eternal Bridal made my experience just like the movies, they were so accommodating and allowed me to bask in the moment with my mum and then later with my bridesmaids, the entire process was so easy and made the ‘bridal era’ exciting. Every appointment felt like the moment I found my dress all over again!
What was it about your dress that made you fall in love with it?
Have you seen the dress? The halter neckline and exquisite detailing, the low back, the long train with an A-line silhouette, it is honestly perfection.
If you could give your newly engaged self one piece of advice, what would it be?
Embrace every moment of your ‘bridal era’, it goes so quickly, and you only get to do it once. Take time to capture the special moments with those closest to you, and remember the day is about you and your partner, do what you want to do, they will be your core memories.
