OUR ENZOANI REAL BRIDE CRUSHES THIS SEPTEMBER
Posted by Annie Lu onAt Eternal Bridal, we love nothing more than seeing our brides' special day. In celebration of our Enzoani Trunk Show this September, here is a look at three of our stunning Enzoani bride crushes and how they celebrated their big "I do".
THE SPECIAL COUPLE: Faustine + Daniel
THE FIRST SIGHT & THE PROPOSAL
We met on Tinder of all places! Dan took me to Lake Oeschinensee in Switzerland and proposed to me while we sat by the water talking about our life together, and he started with 'what a beautiful place to start the next chapter'.
THE INSPIRATION & VENUE
We wanted something simple, it was in the backyard of Dans family holiday home at Shoal Bay where we share a lot of amazing memories. We went with a garden theme, lots of fairy lights, food and added little touches that made it feel like home for everyone.
THE LOOK & SAYING 'YES' TO THE DRESS
I've always wanted a "WOW" wedding dress but nothing over the top. I still wanted to be Me but fancy! I chose a bridal dress that was my style- slim fitting and low cut. I also chose hair and makeup that I would do normally.
I tried about six wedding dresses and I loved two, but both of them wasn't quite right. My Eternal Bridal stylist, Brooke, suggested a dress that wasn't released yet. As soon as I saw it I just knew it had to be mine! We booked in to try it on when it came in and the second I put it on I felt like a bride. It ended up being the dress. I loved Eternal Bridal, the ladies there are wonderful , the dresses are amazing and I've recommended them to all my engaged friends!
THE MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT & ONE WEDDING ADVICE
The whole day was amazing, but I loved that I could not only share my vows to Dan and my love for him, but I also shared my vows to his children, and that was a big moment where making them know I loved them as my own felt really amazing.
My advice would be - try to see any changes as fun, rather than stressful. You may think you know exactly what you want, my Pinterest board for 10 years had my 'perfect' wedding set out, you'll change your mind many times!
THE SPECIAL COUPLE: Alyssa + Alex
THE FIRST SIGHT & THE PROPOSAL
Alyssa and Alex We met through mutual friends and spoke over the phone a lot. Alex was living in Italy cycling and on one of his visits home he took me out of coffee and the rest is history.
We were up in Shoal Bay and Alex took me for a walk along the beach and proposed. We had the entire beach to ourselves. It was private, simple and just want I wanted!
THE INSPIRATION & THE BRIDAL LOOK
Our inspiration was Amalfi Coast! We got married in Positano and wanted to hero the location. We wanted a simple, casual but elegant design and I wanted to wear something simple and something that would be timeless to go with it.
SAYING 'YES' TO THE DRESS
I tried on three dresses at Eternal Bridal and three at another bridal store. Coming to Eternal Bridal was such a lovely experience. I had asked my friend, my Mum, Alex's Mum and my Nan to come along and we went to David Jones beforehand and was really let down by the experience. We stumbled upon Eternal Bridal by mistake and are so glad we did! I chose different dresses from the rack, and my Eternal Bridal stylist also chose a dress for me. She brought out a wedding dress that hadn't been on the shelves yet. She smiled and said, " I think this will be your dress." and it was! As soon as I tried it on, I felt beautiful in it. There were tears from my loved ones, and we all just knew. I wasn't expecting that feeling, but it did happen. It is hard to put into words!
THE MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT & ONE WEDDING ADVICE
My highlight is having 40 of our closest friends and family high up in the cliffs of Positano, eating great food, drinking limoncello and dancing until the next morning!
I would say to brides-to-bes, enjoy the process, don't let it overwhelm you and don't waste energy stressing about the small things - no one will notice on the day.
THE SPECIAL COUPLE: Dzeneta + Aleksandar
THE FIRST SIGHT & THE PROPOSAL
We actually met on tinder. Aleksandar proposed to me on my 24th birthday in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii! As we checked into our hotel, a long trail of rose petals led to a sign that said, "Will you marry me?" Just as I had read the sign, I turned around to see Aleks on his knee, and that's when he popped the question. It was a really special moment for both of us.
THE INSPIRATION & THE BRIDAL LOOK
We had a colour theme of white and gold; something timeless and elegant. We wanted to go with a theme for our wedding that we'd look back on years later and still be in love with.
I wanted a bridal look that was ethereal and a dress that captured my personality. I had a vision in mind which really came to life when I found my wedding dress. My inspiration was drawn from my dress which then led me to the rest!
SAYING 'YES' TO THE DRESS
My experience at Eternal Bridal was amazing! I felt comfortable and supported the entire time. I fully trusted all the staff and tailors to ensure my dress was the perfect fit for our special day. I tried about five wedding dresses in total. They were in various styles to find what type I was most comfortable in and what suited me best. My dress stood out as it felt just the right amount of glamorous, yet not too over the top. I felt like myself in the dress, which was really important.
I would highly recommend Eternal Bridal to all brides-to-be!
THE MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT & ONE WEDDING ADVICE
The highlight of the day was when we both signed the documents to make our marriage official. It was a very happy moment for us!
My one piece of advice would be to not stress as much leading up to the big day. I coordinated our entire wedding and I had enormous pressure leading up to the day involving not only planning the day but of course being the bride. On the day, everything went so smoothly, it was so easy, and so much fun!
